Shaping the language of AI.
I made my way to this field through education. From leading schools, to starting my own company, to building content strategy from scratch, the theme in my career has been the same: good communication will always matter.
Today, I use those experiences as a content model design leader. I focus on two things: organizing data so AI models work better, and teaching people how to build and use AI tools with confidence.
Currently at Thumbtack. Previously at BrainPOP. Advisor at UX of EdTech.
Part-time homeschooler, full-time mom. California native (by way of Oregon!) who spends time in Texas whipping up with mouthwatering vegan BBQ recipes.

My leadership style
Hire capable people and expect them to do their best.
I’m an adaptive Agile leader who: takes advice from her team, asks questions, shares credit for success, encourages change, admits and learns from mistakes, focuses on customers, respects others, creates inclusive environments, responds to marketplace changes, and pushes organizations forward. I lead with integrity and humility.
“If anything goes bad, I did it. If anything goes semi-good, we did it. If anything goes really good, then you did it.” (Legendary football coach, Bear Bryant, University of Alabama)
